Reza Shahzana

Mr. Shahsana has over thirty years of experience in the analysis and design of structures. He started working in 1980 in Iran when he was still senior student at university on the design of steel and concrete buildings against earthquake until 1987. In 1987 he joined to Tehran Metro company and worked in the position of head of structural engineering department till 1998. His work during that period was design of underground structures such as underground Metro stations and soft tunneling and other over ground structures such as bridges, and high rise office and residential buildings as well as some constructional management work with other companies.

In 1999 Mr. Shahsana joined Arabesque Engineering Consultant company in Dubai as structural engineer. Later he got promoted to manger of company as well till 2002. By start of booming of construction of high rise building in Dubai Mr. Shahsana joined to joint venture of Zaki Homsi Consultant company with Dubai Civil Engineering contracting company as leader of structural design team for design of the first 7 residential towers in Dubai marina then after ending design work he joined to NEB Dubai , he has been the founder and manger of structural engineering department of the company till date with amazing and brilliant projects in my record, mostly high rises which are almost unique across the world such as Marina 101 and Marina 106 and lots of other prestigious high rise projects as well as any other type of buildings that could been seen in the web site of NEB. Since 2004 till date he has been also third party structure reviewer of plenty of towers which designed by other companies such as WSP, Hyder , WS.Atkins , BG&E , Meinhardt Australia ,WME, and so many other well-known companies.
